We believe our prices are the lowest in the market. If customer manage to find a price lower than us, they can talk to our sales manage to negotiate a price and see if Cost+ is able to match the price. Cost+ reserves the right to determine the final price.
Cost+ Warranty
1. Introduction
1.1 These Cost+ Warranty Terms are limited in their application to products which are purchased for personal, household or domestic use. If you purchase a product for a commercial purpose, (not for personal, household or domestic use), then these Cost+ Warranty Terms do not apply.
1.2 Cost+ warrants all Cost+ branded products and selected components of those products, as specified in this warranty, against failure due to a manufacturing defect for the period referred to in the below table (Warranty Period), subject to these terms (Warranty). Pending any initial assessments, if a service call is required, this is included in regard to repairs within the first two (2) years from delivery and charged accordingly thereafter. Conditions apply for regional customers.
1.3 Cost+ reserves the right to change the terms of the Warranty at any time however if we do make a change, we will continue to honour the terms of the Warranty which was in effect at the time when you purchased a Product which is covered by this Warranty. However, as per clause 1.6, Cost+ reserves the right it is absolute discretion to determine the final decision whether to honour any warranty claims even at the expense of the customer or purchaser.
1.4 Each Warranty is specific to a product or a component of a product as described in the following table. Please note the exclusions to this Warranty that are listed in this document and the specific exclusions for each specific product and component warranty listed in the below table.
1.5 Please note that the exclusions to this Warranty include both the general exclusions that are listed under the heading “What is not covered by the Warranty?” and the specific exclusions for each specific product and component warranty listed in the table below. Please note that each Warranty is specific to a product or a component of a product.
1.6 After reviewing the case, Cost+ reserve the right it is absolute discretion to determine the final decision whether to honour any warranty claims even at the expense of the customer or purchaser.
2. Warranty Types

Warranty Coverage: Damages to the core chassis or core structure of the furniture
Warranty Period: Depending on warranty package selected by customer upon purchase.

2.2 Saver Cushion Warranty / PremiumCare Cushion Warranty / Cushion Warranty
Warranty Coverage: Damages to the sponge cushion, such as cushion sinking.

b) PremiumCare (PremiumCare is only applicable to Sofas)
Duration: 5 Years
2.3 Saver Mechanism Warranty / PremiumCare Mechanism Warranty / Mechanism Warranty
Warranty Coverage: Damages to the electronic components of the sofa only. Such as electric motor for electric recliner. Also covers metal components such as mechanism for push back sofa.

Duration: 1 year
b) PremiumCare
Duration: 5 Years
2.4 Service only
Coverage: Depends on the damage, minor touch up only if there minor damage. For severe damage, item can be fixed/replaced but costs may be incurred.
Customer must request product service within 3 days from the receive date. See more in section 8 with the title "Return and Exchanges"
Warranty Period: 3 Days
2.5 Cost+ reserves the right in its absolute discretion to honour any type of warranty claims even at the expense of the customer.
3. What is not covered by Warranty?
3.1 These Cost+ Warranty Terms do not apply:
a. If you purchase a product for a commercial purpose, (not for personal, household or domestic use);
b. To any exclusions specifically listed for the relevant product or component in the above table; and
c. Where the product has been delivered to a locality outside of Malaysia whether by Cost+, another third party or the original purchaser;
d. If, at any stage during the use of the product by the original purchaser, the purchaser transports the product to a locality outside of Malaysia;
e. Where the product or components of the product:
i. have not been purchased directly from Cost+; and
ii. have had any product tags removed, altered or defaced; or
iii. have been modified or changed without approval from Cost+;
f. To fabrics supplied by you or outside suppliers. Please note that fabrics and leathers supplied by an outside supplier may be covered by the supplier’s own warranties;
g. To normal wear and tear associated with the products and components. Fabrics, leathers, rugs, suspension components, cushioning and fillings will show signs of wear and tear with use. Fabrics, rugs and leathers will fade and crease. Foam and fillings will soften and form to the shape of the user over time. Depending on the covering and the degree of use, the covering materials, cushion fillings and suspension may need to be replaced periodically at the purchaser’s expense. Scars, marks and differing pore density and colour are natural characteristics of leather and are not to be considered defects. Cost+ reserves the right to determine at its discretion whether a component has failed due to a defect or wear and tear. Any item requiring replacement due to wear and tear will be at your own expense;
h. To colour variations caused by exposure to the local environment for products including but not limited to fabrics, leathers, rugs, timber veneer and solid timber;
i. To damage caused by use of parts and consumables that are not the genuine manufacturer’s parts and consumables. Please note that for any item that is not actually manufactured by Cost+, we will only provide that repair or replacement service to the extent that we can obtain the manufacturer’s approval to do so on their behalf, otherwise we will not offer that repair or replacement warranty for such item;
j. To freight, call-out fees, labour and other items associated with maCost+ a claim under this Warranty where the claim is an invalid warranty claim. If the claim is a valid warranty claim, then Cost+ will only be liable for the costs that it has pre-approved in writing, where pre-approval must be obtained by you prior to you incurring those costs. All costs for which pre-approval in writing is not obtained by you in accordance with this paragraph are excluded from this Warranty and they will be charged to you at standard Cost+ rates; and
k. To products or components that become defective as a consequence of misuse, lack of proper care and maintenance, commercial use or handling in transit. You must use and maintain the products and components in accordance with the care instructions for the relevant product and component as provided on Cost+’s website and any other information made available you by Cost+. If a component of a product becomes defective, you must not attempt to repair it yourself. Doing so may cause damage which is not covered by this Warranty.
3.2 This Warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the products where the products are delivered to a Malaysian delivery address and remain in Malaysia for the life of the product. You cannot assign or transfer any benefit conferred by this Warranty. All subsequent purchasers acquire the products ‘as is’ and without the protection of the Warranty.
4. How to lodge a warranty claim?
4.1 Cost+ Customer Service must be notified of any defect within 3 days of the defect occurring via Whatsapp to +6010 810 7823. You must provide the following information upon notification of the defect:
• Your name; and
• Order delivery address; and
• Your phone number; and
• Cost+ Living product details; and
• Details of the defect claimed
4.2 Once notification of a defect is received by Cost+, a representative of Cost+ Customer Service will help determine whether your warranty claim is valid, and if it is, will inform you how Cost+ will honour it. You may be required to provide Cost+ with:
• Photographic evidence of the defect;
• A written explanation of the defect;
• Details of the defect over the phone with Cost+ Customer Service.
4.3 During the process, Cost+ Customer Service may, before providing the warranty service, require that you respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential faults and follow their procedures for obtaining the Warranty. You must respond to all requests promptly. Cost+ reserves the right in its absolute discretion to determine whether a part has failed due to a defect or wear and tear.
5. How will a valid Warranty Claim be honoured?
5.1 All warranty claims determined by Cost+ Customer Service to be valid will be honoured. The replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Cost+’s property.
5.2 To honour a warranty claim relating to a product, Cost+ will, at its option:
a. Replace the product or supply equivalent product. (When a product or component is replaced, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Cost+’s property); or
b. Repair the product; or
c. Pay the cost of replacing the product by acquiring an equivalent product. (When a refund is provided, the returned product becomes Cost+’s property and must be returned to Cost+); or
d. Pay the cost of having the product repaired.
5.3 To honour a warranty claim under a Warranty that relates to a recliner electronics and motion component, Cost+ will, at its option:
a. Replace the recliner electronics or motion component or supply equivalent recliner electronics or motion component. (When a component is replaced, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Cost+’s property); or
b. Repair the recliner electronics or motion component; or
c. Pay the cost of replacing the recliner electronics or motion component or acquiring an equivalent recliner electronics or motion component. (When a refund is provided, the returned recliner electronics and/or motion component becomes Cost+’s property and must be returned to Cost+); or
d. Pay the cost of having the recliner electronics or motion component repaired.
5.4 Components replaced under this Warranty may vary in colour and texture to the original and such variations are not considered a defect.
5.5 Any repair or replacement under this Warranty is limited to the defective component only.
6. Disclaimer
6.1 To the extent permitted by law, all other warranties implied or otherwise not set out in this Warranty are excluded. Cost+ will be under no liability in contract, tort (including without limitation, negligence, or breach of statutory duty) to otherwise compensate the party eligible to make a warranty claim for:
a. any expenses incurred by the claimant or a third party;
b. any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts or anticipated savings;
c. any loss or expense resulting from a claim by a third party;
d. any special, indirect or consequential losses or damages caused by Cost+’s failure to complete or delay in completing any of its obligations in this Warranty.
7. Limitations on Disclaimer
7.1 If the supply of the products to you is a consumer sale pursuant to Malaysian Consumer Law, the following statement applies. In the following statement, ‘our’ means Cost+ and ‘you’ means the purchaser:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 1999. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
7.2 The benefits given by this Warranty are additional to other rights and remedies that you may have in relation to our products. Any paragraph of this Warranty which is unenforceable or void is to be severed and the rest of this Warranty will remain in force.
8. Returns and Exchanges
8.1. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within 3 days upon receipt of the Products, you may exchange the Product with a substitute equivalent to the items amount. The Product shall be un-used, Product tags shall not be tampered with, and the Product shall be in the original packaging. This policy is applicable only to those products which do not fall under the list of non-refundable items/provided on our store. If 3 days have gone by upon receipt of your Products, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
8.2. All items must be received by Cost+ in order for a customer to be eligible for a exchange. You shall ensure that the Product is sent to us in the same condition as it was when received by you and is packaged properly. In the event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we reserve the right not to accept returns and send the Product back to you.
8.3. We will arrange for a pickup to your address with a minimum shipping fees of RM150. You shall ensure that you are available when the pickup is arranged. In the event that a there was a failed pickup not due to our own errors, we reserve the right not to accept the returns/exchanges.
8.4. Your returned Products are usually received and accepted within a set number of days after the return pick up. Returns handling time will vary depending on the courier that we have selected.
8.5. The lead time for exchanging Products may vary, we will informed you on the lead time.
